About
Jovana Đurić
Jovana Đurić (b. 1998) is a visual artist and conservator-restorer. She graduated from the Faculty of Arts in Niš in 2021 and completed her Master’s degree in Painting at the same faculty in 2022, in the class of Professor Katarina Đorđević. As an Erasmus+ student, she spent the summer semester of 2019/2020 at Gray’s School of Art in Aberdeen, Scotland, in the class of Professor Derrick Guild.
Her artistic practice is centred on painting and mosaic. She has presented her work in solo and group exhibitions in Serbia and abroad and has participated in national and international art colonies and projects. Her professional experience also includes teaching art subjects at secondary-school level.
Alongside her artistic career, she has developed a professional practice in conservation and restoration, including work on mosaics, wall paintings, iconostases and easel paintings.
